  I'd seen this place for years but somehow hadn't made it there until last week. I was hungry, had just left La Fitness across the street, and was tired of all my usual. I called in to place an order of the chopped pork dinner. It came with two sides and I choose green beans and the sweet potatoes. The lady was really pleasant on the phone and my food was ready when I arrived, both of which seems to be a huge problem around this shopping area with other restaurants. Will definitely be back.

  Always a good experience when we come to this is it! Had the beef brisket tips w/spicy bbq sauce with coleslaw and peach cobbler. The beef could have been a little more tender but it was seasoned great and was meaty... the slaw was creamy and good contrast to the bb sauce and the cobbler was good as well. Also had a side of chitterlings which were outstanding as usual. Always try to make a pit stop here when I'm in Atlanta!

  I use to come here all the time with my in laws after coming in from the air port and this past week the service I got from 2 staff members I will tell others NEVER to enter this place ever .
  
  My husband and nephew can't have dairy severe allergy and we politely asked the person that takes the very first order of the greens had dairy or if there were any dairy free options because although we've eaten here before I know places like this can change their ingredients.. but we told her why we were asking her very first response was "this AINT the place you should be eating at then" and that response right there is the VERY REASON I will NEVER enter another "this is it" restaurant ever again .
  
  And when asking what type of grease they fry their things in NO ONE went back to go check it was based off of trusting their word . I understand allergies aren't a big deal to people who don't have them but they are LIFE THREATENING and to be treated as tho our money didn't matter made me NEVER want to eat here again. And I WILL NEVER.
  
  And as a black person who supports black businesses this seriously hurt my heart . There are people who can't have certain things and it's already hard enough to try and find places to accommodate them so to have an attitude like that and pretty much DISMISS us let's me know you don't need or want me back ever again and I will make SURE word travels that your dismissive rude and completely careless service gets around .

  It was okay my rib tips tasted old and I hate that taste on the pinto beans. I gagged every time I try to eat them ! Lol I still haven't found a place to eat where I'm just blew out of my mind! I don't have anything bad to say about this place it just wasn't what the reviews said it was going to be lol ! Don't believe the hype

  The food it was okay it wasn't the best I do like the way they have different varieties of everything me and my daughter visit this place in ATL by the airport we ordered two desserts peach cobbler Strawberry Shortcake as soon as we pulled off to head to the airport to come back home to LA my daughter was eating the Strawberry Shortcake and it had a piece of plastic inside of it and I couldn't turn around to let them know what we found in our Strawberry Shortcake that's pretty disgusting especially when you a new customer and you enjoying your dessert but don't get me wrong it was good that's just disgusting to run across something like that
